Award-Winning Toppings Pies Join Our Hampers!
For a proper pie, you’ve got to go to Yorkshire - or get Yorkshire to come to you. South Yorkshire business Toppings Pies was founded by Bill the butcher in 1961 and has stayed in the family ever since.
The recipes date back even further, with inspiration taken from Victorian and Tudor days, but they’ve got a modern twist, thanks to Bill’s daughter-in-law, Maggie. She put her own creative spin on some of their most mouth-watering dishes. Some things have stayed consistent though - like how every pie from Toppings Pie uses only the very best, locally sourced, British Red Tractor pork meat.
The combination of creative and traditional has paid off; the company has won over 40 awards, including the highest three-star rating at the Gold Great Taste Awards. Their pies can be found at prestigious deli counters such as the Harrods Food Hall, Selfridges and, now, Hay Hampers!
