Best of Lincolnshire to Support Local Producers

Bourne-based Hay Hampers is introducing ‘Love Local Lincolnshire’, a brand new hamper featuring exclusively local produce.

Love Local Lincolnshire

Officially launched on 1st October for Lincolnshire Day, the hamper contains some of the most valued artisan food productions of the county. With one of the two Lincolnshire ales and the mature Cheddar truckle referring to Lincolnshire's proud association with bombers and the RAF, the hamper also contains some Grantham gingerbread, a local delicacy that came close to extinction a few years ago. Then there is some handmade vanilla fudge, made by a local fudge man in Deeping, honey from hives in Colsterworth, and some all butter granola from Lincoln itself.

As one of the UK’s top ‘Small Biz 100’, the circuit that celebrates small business success and encourages the nation to 'shop local' and support British small businesses, Hay Hampers has created the ‘Love Local Lincolnshire’ hamper to support the local agriculture and the community of artisan food producers in these times of economic uncertainty.

Gabriele Da Re, Managing Director at Hay Hampers explains:

”With Brexit around the corner, we might feel we have no control on the bigger issues, so one thing we can do is to sustain our local community producers. This hamper demonstrates our passion for supporting local businesses and products, giving them the opportunity to sell both nationally and internationally through our hampers”.

Priced £37.90 with free UK delivery, the ‘Love Local Lincolnshire’ gift is suitable as a Christmas hamper and a corporate gift for local businesses.
