What better way to show your Valentine how much you love him/her than these gorgeous Jam Hearts biscuits? Personalise them by using his/her favourite jam

Ingredients

1 pack puff pastry, ready rolled
Icing sugar
3-4 tbsp strawberry jam


Method

Open the pastry flat. Spread the jam over the whole area. Dust with icing sugar. Roll the long edges into the middle equally from both sides, secure the two sides together with a milk wash. Manipulate the pastry to a point on the bottom side of the roll to create the heart shaped profile. Then cut into 1-1.5 cm widths. Lay on baking paper with a good distance between them and bake in an oven or heated to 200'c for 15mins. Allow to cool before moving. Then an optional final dusting of icing sugar.
