Schoolfriends Rhian Owen and Rhian Williams launched Siwgr a Sbeis in February 1989. The business began baking and selling a range of delicious cakes from a shop in Llanrwst with a workforce of only three.Today the business is located in a modern 5,000 sq ft bakery in Llanrwst, and makes a wide range of award-winning cakes. The two Rhians constantly consult their old recipe books and inject a modern twist to produce innovative, mouthwatering products many of which have won Great Taste gold awards – the Oscars of the food world. “Baking is our passion and we bake to traditional methods.
